Urgent Care Advanced Practice Clinician in Beckley, West Virginia
TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for an urgent care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team at primary care plus in Beckley, West Virginia. The schedule is 6-8 shifts per month working 10 or 12 hour shifts. There is a mix of urgent care medicine and "healthy" primary care visits caring for patients ages 6 months to geriatrics. Cases include minor abdominal pain, allergies, bronchitis, cold and flu symptoms, ear infections, and more. You may also provide services such as pre-employment physicals, wellness physicals, drug screenings, and more. Candidates must be comfortable suturing, splinting, I&Ds, and minor orthopedics. The preferred advanced practice clinician is comfortable reading x-rays (may not be a deal breaker) and completing COVID testing; average of 1-2
