Position Summary: The Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and case management for clients with substance abuse disorders in accordance with the American Society of Addiction Medicine guidelines, MultiCares policies/standards, and local/state/federal regulatory requirements. The SUDP assists with the planning and coordination of associated counseling and educational programming services within an outpatient and/or inpatient setting, or in the community; implements and delivers prescribed services; coordinates on-going follow-up care services which include therapy, group and individual counseling; monitors and documents progress in treatment; makes referrals to voluntary treatment when indicated and assists in training new peers and provides oversight and professional guidance in all clinical areas.
Minimum Requirements: One (1) year of recent work experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Current WA State Substance Use Disorder Professional certification Bachelors degree in related field preferred A valid Washington State drivers license and reliable transportation may be required
