Licensed Medical Provider - Inpatient
JOB SUMMARY The Licensed Medical Provider in this role works in an acute withdrawal management (or detox) setting as well as in a residential treatment environment, caring for patients suffering from substance use disorders.  The provider in this role works as a part of a larger addiction medicine team, including experienced physicians, advance practice providers, PMHNPs, as well as RN’s, LPN’s, and substance use counselors.  The provider performs admission physicals, formulating and documenting a patient-centered plan of care for both management of withdrawal and initiation of maintenance medications to manage substance use disorders.   The provider also addresses other medical issues that arise in detox and residential clients as needed; participates in coordin
