GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: The Psychiatrist is an integral part of the HOPE Clinic, a co-located, multidisciplinary clinical program caring for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting people with substance use disorder (SUD), their partners, and their infants from conception of pregnancy through early childhood. The primary responsibility of the Psychiatrist is to provide compassionate behavioral health care to pregnant and postpartum people and partners as part of a collaborative care team with a recovery coach, social work, medical assistant, and obstetrical, addiction, psychiatric, family medicine and pediatric providers.
