The Staff Physician will provide care to patients admitted to our acute-care hospital unit on campus with comprehensive history and physical. Physician manages detox protocols and medical conditions from admit to the hospital unit through residential level of care. They will consult with in-house psychiatrist as needed. Schedule is 4 days per week 8:00 am-6:00 pm. Night call is required on rotating basis. Night call is light and by phone-only. Occasional weekends will be required as part of regular schedule. Expect 12-15 patient contacts per day combined in Hospital Unit, Residential Care, or Outpatient MAT Clinic. All medical employees report directly to the Medical Director and function as part of the Staff Team.
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with completion of a residency program in a primary care by time of appointment.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Completion of accredited residency program in primary care either internal medicine or family practice required.
Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
Preference given to board certification or Fellowship completion in Addiction Medicine.
State of Oregon Medical License including dispensing privileges – (copy of original) License must reflect Oregon address by time of hire.
Diploma (copy of original is fine).
DEA Certificate with X-waiver (copy of original is fine, web document is not). DEA must reflect Oregon address by time of hire.
National Board Certification (copy of original or web document).
National Provider Identifier (NPI)(downloaded copy is acceptable). NPI should reflect Oregon address by time of hire.
Possession of a valid driver’s license at time of application and a valid Oregon Driver’s license by the time of appointment if required to drive.
Current BLS/CPR (copy of original is fine).
Ability to work in team approach to care.
This position is subject to a full criminal background check. If fingerprinting is required, the fee is paid for by the employer.

The main campus operates a 22 bed hospital unit and 80 beds of long-term residential care. There are 7 outpatient offices throughout the state of Oregon. Medication assisted treatment is provided long-term at the main campus in Coburg, Oregon and the Serenity Lane facility in Eugene, Oregon.
