WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a PRN experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team located at Franciscan ExpressCare in Crown Point, IN.Â
WHAT WE NEED:
The ideal candidate will have experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care or Family Medicine. Candidate will have ACLS/BLS certifications and will be able to see all patient types.
Ideal candidate should be proficient in:
- Reading basic x-rays of all body parts
- Laceration repair/wound care
- Initial ECG interpretation
- Interpreting test results
- Urgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients and the appropriate transport of these patients to the closest Emergency Room Department
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Clinic Hours:Â Monday â“ Friday 8:00 a.m. â“ 8:00 p.m., Saturday â“ Sunday 8:00 a.m. â“ 6:00 p.m.
- No call expectation
- Open some holidays
- Average outpatient volume: 30+Â patients per shift, depending on season
- Average telehealth visits: 5 patients per day
- On-site Equipment:
- EKG
- POCT
- Radiology Department
- CT Department
- Common Diagnoses:
- Abdominal pain
- Flu
- Musculoskeletal pain/injury
- Shortness of breath
- Upper repository infection
- Urinary tract infection
