Coastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC. Speech Language Patologist PRN Days Position Summary
Licensed speech-language pathologist provides evaluation and direct patient care for those individuals referred by their physicians requiring speech therapy services, whether on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Establishes the plan of care and goals of their patient�s rehabilitative care. Therapist must be skilled in the use of equipment utilized in patient care, provide test interpretation and provide timely and accurate patient evaluation and treatment documentation and correspond regularly with attending physicians. The therapist utilizes knowledge of age appropriate guidelines to provide care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. Provides in-service for other staff members.
Qualifications:THE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education/Other Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited school of Speech Therapy with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. New graduates accepted, but require at least one year professional experience prior to acting as clinical supervisor for interning ST students.
3. Current license to practice Speech-language pathology in the state of South Carolina is required.
4. Holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or is in the CFY process.
5. BLS Certification required.
