We ask that you be licensed in Michigan, live near Lansing or Jackson and have an interest in working with geriatric patients to apply.

The advanced practice clinician (APC) is a part of an integrated care team providing primary care services in post-acute care facilities including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Our patient population includes long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and clinically complex patients and residents. If you have a background in providing primary care in internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics, this could be a great fit for you.

TeamHealth will help you develop a collaborative team approach between the facilities clinical team, supervising physician in the market, and additional service providers in wound care, behavioral health, or infectious disease specialist both locally and nationally. TeamHealth is the largest post-acute care provider in the nation with resources to support you grow a strong practice and give your flexibility in your work life balance.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours. We have an overnight call service provided 7pm to 7am by our nurse practitioner and physician assistant call team. Clinicians rotate backup call to the call team for occasional escalation needs in the local market and weekend day call.

Compensation is a productivity based model with a base salary for full-time providers that offers autonomy and control to maximize your income potential.
