The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service staff physiatrist reports to the Service Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service. A staff physiatrist routinely performs inpatient and outpatient musculoskeletal and neuromuscular examinations, electrodiagnostic testing, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluations, perform peripheral joint and axial spine injections, determines diagnoses, and initiates treatments that emphasize restoration of function.
