Social Worker- Residential Rehab Treatment
The Social Worker functions as a Therapist for the Substance Abuse and Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs (SARRTP/PRRTP) at the VA Nebraska Western Iowa -Omaha VAMC. The Social Worker will function as part of a multidisciplinary team, and will independently assess, evaluate and treat veterans with addictions and mental health disorders. Duties of this position are, but not limited to: 1. Demonstrates the ability to provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diversified backgrounds. This requires knowledge of human development and behavior (physical and psychological), and the differential influences of the environment, society, and culture. 2. Demonstrates the ability to work
