Psychiatrist- Chief of Psychiatry
RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION INCENTIVE MAY BE AUTHORIZED FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS. The Chief of Psychiatry reports to the Chief of Mental Health Service and is the supervisor for our Psychiatry Section, which spans our main facility in Danville, Illinois as well as our 5 community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) located in Bloomington, Decatur, Mattoon, Peoria, and Springfield, Illinois. The Psychiatry Section is comprised of approximately 20 staff including psychiatrists, psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs), a certified nurse specialist (CNS), and a physician assistant (PA). The Psychiatry Section also works closely with the mental health clinical pharmacy specialists (CPSs) who support the mental health and substance use disorder treatment of our Veterans. Our Psyc
