As a Hospice physician with Providence Hospice Oregon in Portland, you'll join a skilled, interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing coordinated, comprehensive hospice care to patients and families. This team is seeking a part-time, board-certified/board-eligible Hospice Physician. Providence Hospice Oregon, the largest not-for-profit in Oregon, is part of a growing integrated Home and Community Services program which collaborates with Home Health, Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics, as well as hospital-based practitioners to care for patients and their families.
Where You'll Work Providence Home Hospice has four service locations with an average daily census of 450 patients. As one of the first programs of its kind in the region and a community leader in health care, Home Hospice is connected to five Providence hospitals in the Portland metro area. Its providers, registered nurses, chaplains, social workers and other team members provide everything from pain control and comfort care to emotional, social and spiritual support for patients and their support networks.
