Berkshire Mountain Health, LLC (“BMH”), Great Barrington, MA seeks a Board-certified Physician to serve as the Medical Director of a 16-bed freestanding treatment detox facility that will be opening in late Spring of 2021.  There is great potential for the right candidate to advance in BMH as it grows in the New England area.

Responsibilities (which may in part be provided through Telemedicine) include:

1. Provide medical supervision to BMH medical staff which will include NP/PAs.
2. Oversee medical, behavioral health, and substance use disorder services to all clients.
3. Provide telephonic consultation as needed including emergency basis.
4. Review and approve BMH policy and procedure manual annually.
5. Oversee evaluation of all new patients within 24 hours of admission and subsequently on daily rounds.
6. Ensure client’s medical/behavioral health/substance use care is appropriately documented in the medical record with initial and follow up visits completed within 24 hours of service.
7. Sign off on all necessary medical and clinical documentation.

Candidates will preferably have Board Certification in Addictions Medicine and an active x-waiver and at least two years’ experience in active treatment provision. We are open to physicians from all specialities.
